Prepossessing (R2) for Dysart trainer John Pearce has had only the one win in twenty-one starts but she recorded that last start and off the red looks a strong chance to repeat at UBET Park tonight. This daughter of Bond ran a quick 29.78 win at Launceston winning by nearly four lengths and maybe she has really turned the corner. Her main opposition will come from Katakai and Howzat Patsy. Prescribe (R5) is a quality chaser and despite a wide alley he should prove too classy for these. Trained by Ted Medhurst who comes off a quintet of winners at Devonport on Tuesday this son of St. Pierre has won three of his last five starts although his last two have been costly for punters. Hardest to beat will be kennel mate Get It Right who is coming off the Tasmanian Country Oaks win and veteran Roxy Rhythm. Howzat Lizzie (R11) is a fast beginning and honest chaser who can bring joy to punters in the last on the programme.

The Vet Series Medley Final is a difficult affair on paper with possibly Stella Act the best chance at reasonable odds while Princess Zara and Kinloch Angel will run big races for the multiples.
