Sofia Elise (R1) looks like getting punters off to a flying start on a strong eleven event card at Tattersall’s Park tonight.

Trained at Richmond by Margaret Rossendell this daughter of El Galo has been a model of consistency in her only five starts including her last start seven length win at Devonport over Hellyeah Kristy.

Jumping from the cherry tonight she should score her maiden win here.

Hardest to beat will be Violoncello who has won at Sandown while Lashing Jake has been runner up here twice lately and deserves a change of luck.

Tadmore Dunoon (R4) appears to enjoy racing at Launceston and has had only the one start in Hobart since June which was a 4th to Lenny James over the middle distance four starts back.

Tonight this son of Collision looks well graded and with any luck in running should run a strong race.

Innisfree Miss has been brilliant in Invitation class over the last month or so winning three and looms as the main danger, for Mangalore trainer Deb Cannan, even though this is her first look over the distance.

Elusive Octane (R8) and kennelmate Canyenero look strong chances in the last leg of the quadrella while New Recruit (R9) looks like continuing his winning run.

Best Bets: R1 No 1 Sofia Elise, R4 No 7 Tadmore Dunoon, R6 No 3 Potrait Ignites.

Best E/W: R5 No 8 Brighton Bullet, R7 No 8 Millie Grace, R11 No 4 Collyn Tiger.
