One a filly the other a gelding, these two had outstanding seasons as three-year-olds but ultimately that would be the peak of their racing careers with injury unfortunately playing a big part. Both have multiple black-type victories and sit on very similar prizemoney totals.

The star juvenile only tasted defeat once in 10 starts on home soil when finishing second in the Launceston Oaks. She won the Gold Sovereign as $1.40 fav when a 2YO and was again dominant returning the next season winning the Tasmanian Guineas against the boys and Strutt Stakes back to her own sex. She was versatile enough to win from 1100m out to 2100m, but we didn’t see the best of her in Victoria, only managing a placing once in her four runs on the mainland.

Not debuting until his 3YO season, he burst onto the scene with six of his seven career wins coming during that season including the Listed Tasmania Guineas, Hobart Guineas and Tasmania Derby. Like Hot Dipped his wins were varied from 1000m at his first race appearance out to 2200m in his Derby win. Five Victorian starts returned a win and a couple of placings with the victory coming at Warrnambool over 1700m in June 2019.
