ONE of Tasmania’s most promising greyhounds Cradoc Park stormed into the Horsham Cup final in Victoria last night with a devastating win in his heat over 480 metres.

Coming from near last the Mick Stringer-trained blue dog produced a scintillating last sectional to overpower his rivals in the shadows of the post.

CradocPark will meet a strong field in the final including recent Launceston and Devonport Cups winner Gardam Prince, prepared at Pearcedale by Darren McDonald.

CradocPark has been something of an enigma in Tasmania producing some breathtaking performances as well as some mediocre efforts.

But last night he was on song and will make his presence felt in the final from box seven.

However, Gardam Prince, a known good beginner, has drawn box eight and is likely to cross the Tasmanian’s path when the lids open.

If CradocPark can avoid any mishaps he will make his presence felt at the business end of proceedings as there is no dog in the field with a better finishing burst.
