The “Bottley” Green Memorial Maiden (R6) is the feature race on tonight’s card at Tattersall’s Park. Thomas Good looks to have the Memorial trophy in his grasp for Dilston trainer Patrick Ryan after his front running second to Elle Don last week. It was his Tasmanian debut run last week after just an unplaced run at Ipswich and although having trialled at Hobart should strip fitter for the run. Topline Tornado, It’s Crunch Time and Beemo have been consistent and deserve to break their maiden status.

King Nitro (R3) for Richmond trainer Steven Hutt has been unlucky at his past two runs and with a favourable draw and the 340m trip looks hard to beat. This son of Nitro Burst had all the way victories at Devonport in fast time and should be hard to catch jumping from the pink. Bell Oh Moss hasn’t raced since April but at her best would be his main opposition while Mighty Serious and Frytson look capable over this trip.

Warehouse Mouse (R5) for Mick Stringer ran an excellent Tasmanian debut last week and will appreciate the rails draw. Kalaway Ernie the Illingworth Classic winner looks hardest to beat although his recent form is not flattering.

Varcoe (R7) has been racing without luck but has the alley tonight to return to his best form. Rockvel and Club Foot should be taken in the multiples.
