Comments from Sam Webster (Hobart Track Manager)

On the expected track rating.

“We’ve irrigated quite heavily this week with the warm weather today and Wednesday.

“We expect to get to a 4 (good) on Saturday and then there is a bit of rain forecast.”

On the 15m rail position.

“Looking at the curvature of the rail position it may favour the inside.

“It’s the first time we’ve raced this far out though so we will learn more on Sunday.”
