REIGNING premier training combination David and Scott Brunton prepared a treble at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart today with stable newcomer Double Unique and highly promising five-year-old Hell Strong saluting before Kid Dynamite powered his way to a game first-up win in the last ig eight races.

Double Unique had contend with being held up in traffic at a crucial stage of his race but with premier jockey Brendon McCoull in the saddle he managed to weave a passage into clear running turning for home and went on to score convincingly over Scoville and Showing The Faith with Largs Lass an eye-catching fourth.

While Double Unique won well his win was not as impressive as that of Hell Strong that did a lot of work early to race outside of the leader Cricketer but despite the tough assignment he forged clear in the straight and went on to win comfortably from Nine Under with La Phillyharmonic a dashing third.

Hell Strong was having his first start back in Tasmania after two unsuccessful attempts in Victoria where he was unplaced at Geelong and Echuca in 0-62 races over 1200m and 1400m respectively.

Kid Dynamite was awesome in winning a strong class four handicap. He settled just off the pace and chased race leader Dash For Magic and at one stage in the straight looked to be struggling but when rider McCoull called on the gelding for the supreme effort he dug deep and grabbed victory from Dash For Magic in the shadows of the post with The Son Shines grabbing third in advance of the fast-finishing Jetstyle Express.
