Tree Bandit has lived up to his name recently being very costly for punter’s however tonight at Tattersall’s Park this son of Pure Octane should atone just in time to buy the Christmas turkey.

Trained at Moorleah by Russell Watts, Tree Bandit has had his fair share of bad luck over the last three weeks here running a second and two thirds but jumping from the cherry should allow him a trouble free run.

Hardest to beat will be the inform Silent Giggle while Shanghai Rex will enjoy jumping from the pink and may sneak a place at odds.

Ted Medhurst is no stranger to having good pups in his kennel and Wicked Magic (R7) looks certain to continue that trend.

Having won at Shepparton in September this son of Hallucinate has started twice for Medhurst and won at both starts on the track registering 26.26 at his last victory.

Jumping from three he looks certain to lead and should bring up his hat trick. His main opposition will come from Posh Will and Western Ruby.

Shanlyn Charlie (R10) for veteran Graeme Moate has also be costly to punters at his last two but drawn well in two tonight he should get back to the winners list.

Canyenero looks the hardest to toss while Jessta Warrior can run a cheeky race at odds.

Best Bets: R3 No 1 Tree Bandit, R7 No 3 Wicked Magic, R10 No 2 Shanlyn Charlie.

Best E/W: R1 No 7 Feraro Karma, R5 No 1 Where’s Oscar, R6 No 1 Left Seattle.
