ricky Voilet (R3) for veteran Broadmarsh trainer Keith Nichols looks certain to continue her good form over the middle distance trip at Tattersall’s Park tonight.
After a super run at Devonport behind Din’s Chappi over the 580m she had no luck last week in the top grade race and will appreciate the drop in class and extra distance.
Daintree Lover and Canadian Bay loom as the main dangers.
Din’s Chappi (R4) should continue his good form over the middle distance and his clash with St Leger winner Shanlyn Poh should be well worth the price of admission.
Din’s Chappi is looking for a hatrick of wins after superb middle distance victories at Launceston & Devonport and may have the stamina to hold Shanlyn Poh on the line. Justin’s Dream (R5) is in a purple patch of form.
After a close third in the St Leger last week he won well at Launceston on Monday night and looks hard to beat again albeit jumping from five. Lozza’s Express looks the hardest to beat while Nitro Alley is due for some luck.
Silver Dave (R6) for Mick Stringer should anchor trebles and doubles after his impressive front running display at Devonport last start.
Best Bets: R3 No 8 Tricky Voilet, R5 No 5 Justin’s Dream, R7 No 5 Rewind.
Best E/W: R8 No 5 Bearville Phil, R9 No 4 Mr Plodda, R10 No 3 Big Mick Dee.
