McCoull were the clear stars of the second night meeting of the season at The TOTE Racing Centre in Launceston on Thursday night

They teamed up to produce a treble which both parties claimed to be a record for the partnership.

McCoull guided Two Avenues to victory in a class two handicap over 1200 metres and in the following race he partnered Drummond to an overdue win in a class one handicap over 1100 metres.

The duo ended the night on a high when Uboa scored a very impressive win in the Back To Longford New Year’s Day Benchmark 68 over 2100 metres.

McCulloch said Two Avenues had done a great job this preparation with this his third career win and his second this time in.

Drummond has been a model of consistency of late without winning and deserved to break through.

Uboa was the most impressive of the trio.

“Uboa has taken a while to mature but he is finally delivering on what he promised as a three-year-old,” McCulloch said.

“I’ve got him entered for Hobart on Sunday and provided he has done nm= harm from this run I’ll back him up and I expect him to be very hard to beat again if he runs,” he said.

Uboa is being aimed at the minor cups in the New Year.
