Two Meetings In Two Days at the Mowbray Track

12 / 03 / 2012 Article by: Editor

The first of two meetings tonight with another tomorrow afternoon will test punters resolve with twenty races to find a good winner.

The main race tonight is a grade three event with Tiza Gold, now trained byLaurieHillsatBrighton, as the hardest to beat.

Although awkwardly drawn her form on this track is consistent winning her last two starts on this circuit.

She is sure to get fully tested by Gold Cup finalist Custodian from the Steve O’Brien kennel and the Leon Brazendale trained Dermie which is much better drawn for tonight’s race.

The best bet is Adelina Pines in race five. Trained at Invermay by Eileen (Agnes) Thomas she has been freshened up and is very well drawn being a mad railer.

Painted Amigo (Mick Stringer) will offer tough opposition and will test Adelina Pines.

Punters should get off to a great start with Jack O’Riley in race one.

Trained at Derwent Park by Dave Polley he will really appreciate drawing box one after some horror boxes at recent starts
