UNDERRATED mare Vision Of Beauty produced arguably the run of the day in Hobart last Sunday to emerge triumphant in the Benchmark 62 handicap over 1400 metres on the Derwent (inside grass) track.
With apprentice Erhan Kacmaz aboard, Vision Of Beauty settled last courtesy of a hot speed being set by Another Hope and Remi Raider.
The Jenny James-trained four-year-old mare was still last on the home turn but when Kacmaz weaved his passage through the field the flashy chestnut put the end result beyond doubt within the blink of any eye once she had clear racing room 200m from home.
Vision Of Beauty went on to defeat the favourite Seven Mile King by over a length with Remi Raider toughing it out to hold down third.
