UNDERRATED trainer Alison Walker celebrated a double early this week when litter sisters Trendy Moss and Bombtrack Moss scored impressive wins at different venues.
Trendy Moss powered her way to an easy win over Paua To Read in a grade four in Launceston on Monday night while Bombtrack Moss delivered a similar result in a grade four at Devonport the following day.
Trendy Moss (Trendy Leigh-Blackberry Moss) began well from box two and once on the lure she gave nothing else a chance, scoring by over three lengths to register her first win since she led up and scored at Devonport in May.
However it was Bombtrack Moss’s third win in nine starts.
Bombtrack Moss began well and after a stoush with M<ambo Light she forged clear and went on to defeat Mambo Light by 4-1/2 lengths with Jay Brown third.
Both bitches will contest heats of the Minister's Gift in Launceston on Monday night with Bombtrack Moss to wear the green vest (6) in the third heat (race 5) while Trendy Moss will jump from box two in the last of five heats (race 7).
