The recent Hobart domination of Scott Brunton continued on Sunday, training five of the first six winners of the day.
On episode 22 of the Week in review, Matt Reid explains that since Ladbrokes Hobart Cup day, Scott and his partner Tegan Keys have trained 27 out of a possible 50 winners (54%) across the six meetings in that period.
It was a day to be playing the short end of the market with six of eight favourites winning, which doesn’t include the well-supported Yarra Master ($3.50 into $3.10). With the soft 7 surface representing the first genuinely wet track meeting in some time, Matt does his best to direct punters towards what they can take from the program given it’s reasonable to expect similar conditions in Hobart for the rest of the season.
