This week Tasracing’s thoroughbred form analyst Matt Reid had a pair of meetings to dissect and he did just that on the Week in review podcast.
Adam Trinder saddled up three favourites on the program in Hobart on 14 March, returning home with the win of Black Magic Woman. Matt looks at the stats surrounding Trinder’s runners at the three main Tasmanian tracks, indicating that the numbers aren’t nearly as strong in the south of the state.
Trinder undoubtedly has a rising star on his hands in the form of The Risk Factor who won for the fourth straight start and was part of a double for the stable in Launceston on Wednesday. Matt discusses potential opposition for The Risk Factor in the St. Leger which appears to be the next logical target for the 4YO.
