Laterron is close to another win going on her last two runs at Menangle. On Saturday night she was a fast finishing second after a similar run the previous week when fourth to Delightful Christian. Laterron is owned by prominent Tasmanian trainer Zeke Slater and is now trained in NSW by Dennis Wilson.

Karalta Impulse

Two year old filly Followthewind, who won the Blue Bonnet at Hobart on 15 June,  was due to start in the $50,000 Tatlow Stakes for fillies but connections decided to stay at home after they were advised she would be the first emergency.

Menangle on Saturday Night – Laterron and Delightful Christian

Sunday Twilight at Hobart – Eight Races

There are eight races at Hobart on Sunday night. An interesting starter in Race 4 is the Tasbred Fon Ess Kay from the Victoria stable of Adam Kelly. The three year old filly is by Four Starzzz Shark out of Ess Kay Precious and was bred by Max Hadley and Fred and Pauline Barker.
