Now it would be foolish to suggest that Beaudine could beat her however he did get into trouble last week and was motoring home to be beaten by 2 ½. Trainer Butch Deverell admitted that it was hard to get him ready for long distance racing after a successful Derby campaign in Launceston over the sprint but believes he will improve on last week’s run. 461m Track Record Holder Bergermeister (R8) is back in form and should be hard to beat in the Invitation.
